Birds and Costume-like Adornment

New Zealand-based artist Karley Feaver created colorful series Becoming Otherwise, a mixture on the birds and costume-like adornment. The sculptures are uses not just taxidermy birds, but human hair, gold plated metal, wood, and more

Karley has an unusual way of using hair on these small creatures. She forms it in such a way that it becomes a necklace, scarf and more.

The animals Karley uses are ethically sourced and have died of natural causes. None are harmed for the sake of creating art.
