Cubelets are tiny cubes that can be snapped together, Lego-style, to make a variety of robots. Even better, they don’t require any programming or wiring skills !! The 15 different types of cubes each have their own functions — including movement, sensors, and lights — and snapping them together in different combinations produces different robot behavior !!
According to the creators at Modular Robotics, “You can build robots that drive around on a tabletop, respond to light, sound, and temperature, and have surprisingly lifelike behavior,” akin to a flock of birds or a swarm of bees !! And who doesn’t want a swarm of robot bees ??
