Russian artist Vladimir Manyuhin has wowed us with manipulated photos of famous cities around the world. In an attempt to explore what the world could look like post-apocalypse, Manyuhin has made digital enhancements to photos he took of real cities suggesting what the spaces might look like once overcome by mother nature, abandoned by humans and left to decay thanks to the elements. We actually like the look of a little more nature in the cities – how cool would lions be in Times Square NYC? Or creeping vines and lush meadows throughout St. Basil’s Cathedral in the Red Square in Moscow? We love when artists and designers give us a glimpse into the imagined – what a treat these photos are…and hopefully some act as an inspiration to continue paying one’s taxes.
