Most Famous UFO Sightings



If you haven’t decided whether you believe in life outside planet Earth or not here is your chance. Sightings of extraterrestrial creatures will tickle your senses. There have been numerous sightings all over the planet where people have claimed to have been in near contact with aliens. The little green men, as they are often called, have come to visit our planet from a far a way galaxy. It seems that with the concept of space that we cannot grasp, a place in our minds, which allows ourselves to believe, is created. It remains to be seen whether this is just an entertainment for gullible human minds or something else. Here are most famous UFO sightings.

1. The Lubbock Lights


An unusual V-formation of 20-30 lights was spotted in 1952 by three professors from Texas Technical College and later photographed by a student.

2. A Battle of Los Angeles

In 1942 only months after Pearl Harbor a flying craft was spotted above L.A. It was assumed to have been the Japanese. The true identity of the aircraft was never discovered.

3. The Washington D.C. Incident

Even the president Truman was puzzled by this and he demanded an explanation. Several objects were spotted by a radar controller. In consecutive weekends the orange objects were floating above the White House itself. It seems that aliens like to be seen mostly in the USA.

4. Ghost Rockets

In Sweden, 1946, over 2000 rockets were seen in two days. It was assumed that they were meteors. However, the sightings occurred mostly during day time. Another strange fact was that the rockets moved slowly and horizontally and were followed by unusual noises.

5. The Belgian UFO Wave

Above the Belgian sky 143 witnessed black triangles with bright lights that changed color. The Belgian Air Force still offers no explanation for the objects.

6. Roswell, New Mexico

One of the most famous UFO landings and Government cover-ups was certainly the Roswell incident. An alien aircraft, or experimental high-altitude surveillance balloon as it was claimed, was found in the desert of New Mexico.
