When thinking of bathtub design, the term “opulent” rarely makes an appearance in a tub’s description – but this bathtub designed by Italian-based bath product manufacturing company Devon&Devon is different. Opulent is the only word we can find to describe the Mida tub that has been covered in 24 carat gold leaf. Inspired by the ancient Florentine tradition of gold leaf application, this tub must make stewing in your own filth feel pretty wonderful. The gold leaf was applied patiently by hand and covered with a semi-lucid transparent protection for easier maintenance and care.
