Have you heard of {Live Between}? We have, and we think you should know about this incredible concept for a futuristic approach to hotels. {Live Between} is a mobile hotel designed by HKS Architects that offers guests the opportunity to sleep hundreds of feet above the ground in a suspended pod-like room. The hotel pods are intended to be mobile, changing their location from one amazing city to the next in order to offer guests a different landmark to experience during a holiday. The pods are strung together with sturdy cables and a custom designed tension pulley system is used to position the pods between buildings. The idea behind {Live Between} is that the next destination of the hotel pods is unknown, and during the assembly process, a large screen is used to conceal the area until the big reveal. The pods function as self-sufficient rooms with their own water filtration systems (all eco-friendly, of course) and electricity. The buildings that support the pods will be used as lobbies for the mobile hotel. Our only question is how do guests get from their room to the ground (or vice versa)? We have no idea, but we sure do want to follow along with {Live Between}’s latest updates to find out.
