Money Sculptures

Canadian artist Kristi Malakoff created these wonderful sculptures for her 2008 Polyhedra series.

Despite the large scale photos, most of the sculptures are beautifully tiny…the sphere is only 2″ in diameter, for example while most other pieces are 2.5″.

Each piece is made from folded currency bills from around the world, including Canada, Brazil, Zambia, Egypt, Bolivia, China, Afganistan, Yugoslavia, Iraq, Paraguay, Russia and more.
